Procedure:
The fiber-optic line is connected to the building consisting of several staircases, many floors, several lofts. Our example is the building with two staircases and two floors and three apartments per floor. A total of 12 apartments. In Distribution Closure in the basement, the cables from the individual residence will be spliced. Our example uses GPON Splitter, but it will be very similar in the case of Point to Point connections.

Instruction:
  1. Add a closure that will be used as Distribution Closure. Put a point on the building's outline on the map. Instruction: Add a closure.
  2. Add 2 Panel / Network ending on the map in this building. Available maps usually include all the buildings. These 2 points "Panel/Network ending" will show individual building's staircase. Instructions Add Network Ending.
  3. Connect the fiber-optic cable into the closure in the building. Instruction: Add Cable.
  4. Create 6 fiber optic access cables between the closure in the building and the Panel / Network ending for the first staircase. Instruction: Add Cable.
  5. Create 6 fiber optic access cables between the closure in the building and the Panel / Network ending for the second staircase. Instruction: Add Cable.
  6. In the closure, find the fiber and add the GPON 1/12 Splitter. Instruction: Add GPON Splitter.
  7. In the "Panel/Network ending" frame 1, add and configure the fiber-optic panel. Instruction: Add and configure Fiber Optic Panel.
    1. Add 6 panels describing them in order, as:
      1. Floor 1, apartment 1
      2. Floor 1, apartment 2
      3. Floor 1, apartment 3
      4. Floor 2, apartment 4
      5. Floor 2, apartment 5
      6. Floor 2, apartment 6
    2. Create the proper number of ports in each apartment, panel.
  8. Repeat steps 7 for the second staircase.
  9. In the closure, add fiber from the cable to the individual apartment to the splitter parts.
  10. Repeat adding the access cables to individual Splitter parts and leading to 12 apartments.
  11. In each of the 12 fiber optic panels in the apartments, add the end of the access cable on the fiber optic panel.
  12. It's done.
Hint:
Try to name the joints, panels/network endings, access cables. It will be easier to identify and search for them later.
