Viewing Fiber Routes in Fibkit.com

Discover the detailed visualization of your fiber connections with the Fiber Route feature in Fibkit.com. Here's a quick guide on how to navigate the Fiber Route view:

1. Orientation

The Fiber Route diagrams are presented from the top to the bottom of the screen for easy readability and navigation.

2. Left Section: Splice Point Location

On the left side, you'll find the names of the splice points, providing a clear indication of the location associated with each point in the Fiber Route. Each name is a clickable link leading to the detailed view of the respective splice point.

3. Middle Section: Fiber Route

In the middle, a visual representation unfolds. Colored line segments depict fibers from individual fiber optic cables, while dots symbolize splice points. Additionally, shapes convey specific information:

  • Square: Termination point panel (ODF - Optical Distribution Point).
  • Square without filling: Planned connection at the network termination point (ODF).
  • Unfilled circle: Planned connection at the splice closure point.

This section offers a comprehensive view of the fiber route within Fibkit.com.

4. Right Section: Fiber Number and Cable Name

On the right side, each fiber is identified by a unique number (e.g., 1(1) t1), along with the corresponding cable name. This information aids in quick reference and tracking within the Fiber Route.
