Introduction to Planning Feature

Welcome to Fibkit.com – your go-to solution for managing fiber optic networks. This user manual will guide you through the Planning feature, an essential tool to keep your network organized and efficient.

Status Overview

Fibkit.com introduces three key statuses: Planned, In Progress, and Completed.

Selecting Status

When adding a splice point, termination panel, or cable, you are required to assign a status. This classification ensures a clear understanding of the progress and completion of tasks related to these elements.

Filtering Functionality

Effortlessly manage your network elements with the convenient filtering option. Located on the right side, above the table displaying the list of items, this feature allows you to filter elements based on their status.

Map Export by Status

Customize your map export based on the status of selected network elements. For instance, download a skeleton layer map with splice points marked as Planned (or any other status of your choice). This export configuration provides flexibility and precision.

Main Map Representation

Visualize your network's planning status on the main map. Dashed lines indicate cables in the planned status, offering a quick overview of your network's planning progress.
